Kasemrad General Hospital, Bangkok, Thailand was under the management of Kasemrad General Hospital Co.,Ltd.

Our strong determination to provide medical service and develop life quality for the public results in our nationwide success and trust.

With our visions, we realise that the survival of a hospital business depends mainly on the appropriate size of the business, resulting in efficient management. On November 24, 1993, Kasemrad General Hospital improved its management into the Chain Hospital system. Its former name has been changed into Bangkok Chain Hospital Co,.Ltd. It joined in the investment and management with other three allied hospital, namely, SaraburiVejakit Co., Ltd. to establish Kasemrad General Hospital Saraburi, the northeastern part of Thailand in 1994, Rattanathibet Hospital Co., Ltd.

In the northeast of Bangkok for the joint management with Kasemrad General Hospital Rattanatibet in 1995, Sriburin Medical Co., Ltd. for the joint management with Kasemrad General Hospital Sriburin in Chiangrai, an upper north province of Thailand in 1996 and established two more branch hospitals in Bangkok, that is, Kasemrad General Hospital Prachachuen in 1997 and Kasemrad General Hospital Sukhapiban 3 in 2000

On April 22, 2004, the company was changed into Bangkok Chain Hospital , PCL. in order to enter the Thailand stock market at the forth quarter of 2004 .

Management

Based on the policy of Good Service, Standard Treatment and Reasonable Medical Fees, the company has developed their management in every aspect to build the growth of business for the company and its shareholders Good locations, hospital should be located by the main road where traffic is smooth. The Prachachuen branch, which is also the headquarters, was planned to be the domestic and regional referral based for patients who require continuous treatment. It has a helipad for air transportation.

 Setting low-cost management policies such as economy of scale, inventory management, establishment of the central purchasing units and implementation of information system for management support result in the fact that the organisation could earn more primary profits than the other competitors of the same business.


Moreover, since we realise the importance of quality of service, they propose the use of quality system, starting with the use of the ISO 9001 quality system at its six certified branch hospitals, and the continuous quality improvement, using the Hospital Accreditation System. At present, the two hospitals in the group have been certified . First our Bangkhae Hospital in Bangkok has been certified on October 2003, second our Rattanathibet Hospital in Bangkok has been certified on January 2004. The certifications for the other branches will have been completed by 2005.

To adjust our service with the social and economic change, our executives have decided to join the Social Security Act Project in 1993 and the Universal Coverage Project in 2001.

We are entering into Thailand stock market in order to enhance the potential of finance and investment as well as the stability to the organisation.

From over 20-year experience in the hospital management, Dr. Chalerm Harnpanich, The Bangkok Chain Hospital President who started with a 60-bed size hospital, now expands to six big branch hospitals with totally 1,620 beds. The number of patients is continue to grow by months. Due to his participation in the National Public Health Staff and his position as one of the management team of the Thai Private Hospital Association, our credentials were nationally accepted and awarded the Best Private Hospital Executive Prize by the Hospital Executive Association of Thailand in 2001.

New Project

The International Medical Excellent Centre aims to be the centre of the Kasemrad group. Its objectives are to provide tertiary care service for the patients transferred from our Branches and other hospitals that are unable to provide full facilities to patients,

To function as the place to provide every aspect of service such as medical staff, high-tech medical instruments and modern interior and landscape design will be beneficial to the clients ranging from the A- to the A classes as well as the foreign clients.


To function as the place to host medical, nursing and medical staff training projects and exchanges with the allied hospitals overseas.

From our long experience in private hospital management, the company is well aware that the success of the Excellent Medical Centre project must achieve the following factors.


  1. Finding the best locations : The hospitals should be located in the urban areas and easily accessible.

  2. Appropriate sizes for the projects : The area should be about 5-6 acres, which is large enough for the construction of buildings and facilities such as private rooms for patients’ relatives and parking areas including restaurants.

  3. Medical staff : Since we wish to focus on excellent treatment quality, every aspect of service such as the domestic and international efficient medical staff, nursing and personnel affairs should be well-prepared.

  4. Modern medical instrument : The hospitals should possess modern and high-tech medical instruments and are well-prepared to provide every aspect of service such as the centres of heart diseases, diabetes and brain surgery.

  5. International standard management : The hospitals should develop their management styles by international standards, based on the principles of modern medical management.

  6. Setting medical fees : The medical fees should be reasonable and commensurate with standardised service. With its accessible location,
    proficient medical staff,
    modern medical instrument
    and international standard service.
