Our nursing staff is composed of registered and licensed practical nurses, all possessing the skills and education necessary to carry out the careful plan of treatment prescribed by your physician. Nursing assistants and volunteers who work under the supervision of the nurses will also provide some of your bedside care.
In some cases, you may require the services of our therapists and technicians. These highly skilled professionals provide respiratory treatments, take a sample of your blood, and administer tests, or x-rays. All these services have been ordered by your physician to help with diagnosis and treatment of your illness.
For every nurse or technician you see, you will find others working behind the scenes: engineers, administrators, all are members of a team of experienced, caring Kasemrad Hospital employees, all working together to provide you with the highest quality care while you are here.

may request tests to be performed by the Radiology Unit. These
tests are necessary to diagnose and evaluate your health and to
assess the effects of your treatment. In addition to routine x-ray
examinations, our Radiology Unit is well equipped with the most
modern facilities for CAT scanning, ultrasound, mammography, and
echocardiography testing. All of these tests are performed by
trained technologists under the supervision of a radiologist,

Your physician will consult with the radiologists
about exams he orders and their results. These exams often require
special preparation on your part, and some of them may be long
and complicated, but we assure you that we will make your visit
to radiology as comfortable and efficient as possible.
Anaesthesiology
If you require anaesthesia services while you are in the hospital,
an anaesthesia unit representative will meet with you to evaluate
and discuss your needs. Recommendations will be based on an evaluation
of your medical history and physical findings, the procedure itself,
and your wishes. A decision as to the safest, smoothest anaesthetic
course for your needs will be made. If a technique is recommended
which you do not desire or do not understand, please ask for clarification.
